DENVER (AP) — People keep flocking to Chipotle despite the chain's recent price hikes. The Denver-based company said Monday that sales at established locations rose 17.3 percent in its second quarter. Chipotle said the sales surge was driven by higher customer traffic and to a lesser extent by national price hikes that were recently put in place. The company, which has about 1,700 restaurants, said it now expects sales at established locations to rise in the "mid-teens" for the full year. Previously, it had forecast an increase in the "high single digits," excluding the impact of price hikes.
