PHILADELPHIA (AP) — A historic cruise ship moored in Philadelphia could be destined for the scrap heap if a group trying to save it doesn't get an infusion of cash. The SS United States Conservancy sent a virtual SOS to supporters Wednesday, saying ongoing expenses have become unsustainable. The nonprofit says it needs more than $60,000 per month to keep the rehabilitation project afloat. It's retained a broker to explore selling the ship to a metals recycler.

Pandora says it will move into ticket sales and marketing by buying Ticketfly for $450M

NEW YORK (AP) — Streaming music company Pandora says it will buy Ticketfly for $450 million in a move that takes the company beyond music sharing and into ticket sales and marketing. The companies say Ticketfly sold 16 million tickets to 90,000 events last year, with the value of those tickets surpassing $500 million. They added that 14 million people visit Ticketfly's sites each month.
