NEW DELHI (AP) — A government report says India's economy will grow more than 8 percent in the upcoming financial year and appears to have shaken off its persistent problems of high inflation, rising budget deficits and poor domestic demand. The growth projections would make India the world's fastest growing economy, surpassing China. However the higher growth projections follow a revision of the baseline against which India calculated economic growth.

MOSCOW (AP) — Ukrainian gas company Naftogaz announced Friday that it had paid $15 million for another month of Russian gas, but Moscow says that the sum will only be enough for an additional day of deliveries. Airbus posts higher net profit in 2014 on back of higher jet deliveries

PARIS (AP) — Airbus says its net profit soared 59 percent last year as a record-high number of jet deliveries helped offset a 551 million euros end-of-year charge against its delayed A400M military transporter program. Boeing's chief rival in the $200 billion commercial aircraft market said it will ramp up production of its in-demand single-aisle A320 series of jets to 50 a month from 2017, from a planned 46 per month in 2016.
