NEW YORK (AP) — Target shoppers found out this weekend that when stores make deals to carry merchandise from high-end designers for a limited time, it can be, well, really limiting. The line shows the challenges stores face when they offer limited-time collections. These lines typically consist of cheaper versions of designer pieces and are sold for a short period of time. They generate buzz from aspirational buyers who want to don upscale brands as well as avid wearers of the labels themselves. But the high demand can be a double-edged sword: Often, customers encounter picked-over merchandise and website snafus.

LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) _ Packaging Corp. of America (PKG) on Monday reported first-quarter net income of $90.8 million. The Lake Forest, Illinois-based company said it had profit of 92 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for restructuring costs and non-recurring costs, were $1.01 per share. The results did not meet Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of eight analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.09 per share.

Judge sends ultra-rich club founder Tim Blixseth back to jail over financial disclosures

HELENA, Mont. (AP) — A federal judge ordered the founder of a Montana mountain resort for the ultra-rich back to jail Monday, saying he failed to disclose what happened to $13.8 million from a Mexico resort sale. U.S. District Judge Sam Haddon previously jailed Blixseth for a week in December after finding him in contempt for not giving up details on his sale of the Tamarindo resort in the Mexican state of Jalisco.
