RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — Camel cigarette maker Reynolds American Inc. is snuffing out smoking in its offices and buildings. The no-smoking policy will go into effect once Reynolds builds indoor smoking areas for those still wanting to light up indoors, spokesman David Howard said. "We believe it's the right thing to do and the right time to do it because updating our tobacco use policies will better accommodate both non-smokers and smokers who work in and visit our facilities," Howard said. "We're just better aligning our tobacco use policies with the realities of what you're seeing in society today."

Owners to keep Trump Taj Mahal casino open through November; still may close by year's end

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) — Trump Entertainment Resorts is dropping its threat to close Atlantic City's Taj Mahal casino on Nov. 13. Trump Entertainment has been pursuing a long-shot rescue plan to re-finance the company and transfer ownership to billionaire Carl Icahn, who would pump $100 million into it. But the plan hinges on getting $175 million in state assistance that state Senate President Steve Sweeney has already ruled out.

Interface reports 3rd-quarter loss of $376,000

ATLANTA (AP) _ Interface Inc. (TILE) on Wednesday reported a third-quarter loss of $376,000. The Atlanta-based company said it had a loss of 1 cent per share. Earnings, adjusted for restructuring costs, came to 13 cents per share. The results matched Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also for earnings of 13 cents per share.

Bank of America says it will reimburse customers who were charged twice in Apple Pay glitch

SAN JOSE, CALIF. (AP) — Bank of America apologized Wednesday for a double-billing glitch that affected some customers who made purchases with Apple Pay, the new mobile payments service that Apple launched this week. The glitch involved about 1,000 transactions, and all duplicate charges will be refunded, said Bank of America spokeswoman Tara Burke.
