WASHINGTON (AP) — House Republicans sued the Obama administration on Friday over its implementation of President Barack Obama's health care law, saying he had overstepped his legal authority in carrying out the program. One Republican official said party leaders are considering amending the suit to include Obama's actions on immigration, a change that would require approval by the GOP-controlled House. The official spoke on condition of anonymity to describe internal Republican deliberations.

A 2009 report found that the New York Fed's culture stifled dissenting views among its bank supervisors. "Of course we are not perfect, but we always strive to improve and retain your trust," Dudley said at the hearing, which focused on whether the Federal Reserve has too cozy of a relationship with Wall Street banks.

Colorado charters first credit union for marijuana industry, but fed approvals still needed

DENVER (AP) — Colorado has granted a charter for the first financial institution to serve its cash-only marijuana industry. However, before it can open permanently for business, action is also required by the National Credit Union Administration and Federal Reserve. The Colorado Division of Financial Services issued the charter Wednesday to The Fourth Corner Credit Union, which could open in January, The Denver Post reported Thursday (http://dpo.st/11CYeJF).
