The jury was re-polled after the announcement and the discrepancy was found. The jury in San Francisco was considering a lawsuit filed by Ellen Pao against Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers.

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) — A package of bills to help Atlantic City and its struggling casino industry is being delayed by a standoff between its sponsors and Gov. Chris Christie over who should act first. His comments came in response to a call by state Senate President Steve Sweeney for Christie to declare his support for the bills. The cornerstone of the package is a plan to let Atlantic City's eight casinos make payments in lieu of taxes, and redirect certain taxes and fees to help pay down some of the city's debt.

Obama: White House to expand 'take child to work day,' ask employers to include less fortunate

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama says the White House will open next month's annual Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day to children whose parents don't work in the building. Obama says in a video released Friday that aides are working with the Boys and Girls Club and the District of Columbia's Child and Family Services Agency to invite kids from Washington to join the children of White House staffers on April 23 to learn what it's like to work at the White House.
