MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. (AP) _ Actuant Corp. (ATU) on Thursday reported fiscal first-quarter net income of $24.7 million. The Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin-based company said it had profit of 38 cents per share. The results missed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 43 cents per share.

LONDON (AP) — A botched cyberattack aimed at unmasking Syrian dissidents has experts worried that the Islamic State group is adding malicious software to its arsenal. Citizen Lab analyst John Scott-Railton said there is circumstantial evidence of the group's involvement, and cautioned that if the group has moved into cyberespionage, "the targets might not stop with the borders of Syria."

Deputies: Man faked heart attack so friend could steal Barbie car, toy house from Wal-Mart

LAKE WALES, Fla. (AP) — Authorities say a man faked a heart attack inside a Florida Wal-Mart store so his friend could steal toys. The men — 30-year-old Tarus Scott and 27-year-old Genard Dupree — were arrested Tuesday on grand theft charges. The Polk County Sheriff's office says the men filled a shopping cart with a motorized power wheel Barbie car, Leap Frog tablet and a Barbie Glam vacation house. They walked through the store together.
