A line of children's booster seats with potentially faulty safety straps are among this week's recalled consumer products. Others include several types of gas ranges with defects that can cause burn or fire hazards. Here's a more detailed look: DIMMING SWITCH DETAILS: This recall involves Vivint's Remotec plug-in dimming and on/off switch module, model ZDS-100US. It was sold separately or in home automation alarm systems that remotely control lighting and home appliances and act as a repeater that amplifies wireless signals. The off-white module plugs into the wall and measures about 5 inches long at the top and 4 inches long at the bottom, 2.45 inches high at the center and 1.39 inches wide at bottom. It has electric outlets on both sides and signal strength indicators at the top. Recall

PALO ALTO, Calif. (AP) — The operator of a popular adult dating website said Friday it's investigating a potential security breach, following reports that hackers stole names, email addresses and information about the sexual preferences of up to 4 million members. FriendFinder Networks, the Silicon Valley company that operates the service, said in a statement that it hired a prominent cyber-security firm to investigate and is telling members to update their user names and passwords. It said it is also temporarily blocking attempts to search for user profiles by "any users we believe were affected by the security issue."

Tuk Tuk Factory _ maker of auto rickshaws popular in Asia _ aims to make inroads in US

DENVER (AP) — They're ubiquitous in Asia, swarming the bustling streets of Bangkok, New Delhi and Beijing. The Tuk Tuk Factory, based in Amsterdam, has signed a licensing agreement with Denver-based eTuk USA to allow the company to manufacture and sell an electric version of the vehicle. The company's founders hope the eco-friendly vehicles, a far cry from the loud, pollution-spewing versions common in Asia and South America, will become the next hip mode of transportation for urban dwellers and tourists across the country.
