SAN DIEGO (AP) _ Celladon Corp. (CLDN) on Tuesday reported a loss of $11.3 million in its fourth quarter. On a per-share basis, the San Diego-based company said it had a loss of 49 cents. For the year, the company reported that its loss widened to $33.9 million, or $1.82 per share. Celladon shares have increased slightly more than 2 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has climbed 77 percent in the last 12 months.

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — Warren Buffett's company has added two small Virginia newspapers to its collection of over two dozen small and medium-sized newspapers. Terms of the deal weren't disclosed. Berkshire Hathaway owns 31 daily newspapers and dozens of weeklies in 10 states, including several in Virginia.

BOSTON (AP) — Massachusetts should be a national leader in narrowing the wage gap between men and women in the workforce, state Treasurer Deb Goldberg said Tuesday in announcing the creation of a new statewide advisory committee to devise strategies for improving wage equality. According to Goldberg, women in Massachusetts earn just 82 cents on the dollar compared to men. The gap is wider for black women — who earn 61 cents on the dollar — and Latinas, who earn just 50 cents on the dollar.

Lewis and Phil Mickelson, who have endorsement deals with the accounting firm KPMG, are taking part in a media campaign aimed at the advancement and empowerment of female executives. The campaign began Tuesday and will run through the KPMG Women's PGA Championship in June, which will feature a women's leadership conference with executives from business, sports, entertainment and politics.
