BOGOTA, Colombia (AP) — A lawyer for a fugitive Colombian millionaire at the center of the South American nation's biggest financial scandal says his client has been arrested in Spain. Maldonado was the largest shareholder of Interbolsa, which had been Colombia's biggest brokerage before its 2012 collapse for defrauding clients.

Congressman: Cancel VA bonuses, use money to cover huge cost overruns at Denver hospital

DENVER (AP) — Congress should cancel all VA employee bonuses and use the money to finish the budget-busting Denver veterans hospital, Colorado Rep. Mike Coffman said Thursday. Haggstrom retired Wednesday amid an internal investigation into the problems at the Denver hospital, the VA said. No phone listing for him could be found to seek comment.

World Point Terminals posts profit of $6.3 million in 4th quarter

ST. LOUIS (AP) _ World Point Terminals LP (WPT) on Thursday reported fourth-quarter net income of $6.3 million. On a per-share basis, the St. Louis-based company said it had profit of 19 cents. The provider of refined and crude oil storage posted revenue of $22.4 million in the period. For the year, the company reported profit of $32.5 million, or 98 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $90.2 million.
