ATHENS, Greece (AP) — Greece says it hopes creditors will start talks on debt relief quickly — as soon as they have completed their first review of the country's bailout reforms — to dispel uncertainty and help the battered economy. He said that without a clear indication as to how Greece will deal with its oversized debt, uncertainty will cloud the economic outlook and stunt consumer spending and foreign investment.

EU stands by West Bank labeling move, seeks clarification, as Israel freezes contacts

BRUSSELS (AP) — The European Union is standing by its decision to put special labels on West Bank exports despite Israel's move to freeze contacts on Mideast peace issues with EU representatives. EU spokeswoman Maja Kocijancic said Monday "there is no great change from the EU perspective, and there is EU unity on this."

Jurors return from break for deliberations in ex-coal CEO Blankenship's trial over mine blast

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) — Jurors are preparing to head back to court for deliberations in the trial of ex-Massey Energy CEO Don Blankenship. The jury is expected to hold its sixth full day of deliberations Monday. They haven't met since Tuesday because of Thanksgiving. Blankenship is charged with conspiring to break safety laws and defrauding mine regulators at West Virginia's Upper Big Branch Mine, and lying to financial regulators and investors about safety. The mine exploded in 2010, killing 29 men.

Some daily fantasy sports companies are pulling out of US markets as states weigh regulation

BOSTON (AP) — Yahoo remains active. CBS has quietly withdrawn. And lesser known daily fantasy sports companies are scaling back. "The industry is pretty fragmented on the 'should they stay or should they go' issue," says Chris Grove, editor of the Las Vegas-based Legal Sports Report, which focuses on sports wagering. "A real schism has opened up."
