SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — A lengthy investigation into whether Google has been abusing its dominance of Internet search to stifle competition in India is moving into its next phase. The inquiry revolved around complaints filed by several websites contending that Google has been unfairly highlighting its own services in its influential search results at the expense of its rivals.

Austria checks trucks for migrants, creates huge traffic jam on main Budapest-Vienna highway

BUDAPEST, Hungary (AP) — Austria stepped up vehicle inspections Monday at its Hungarian border after 71 migrants apparently suffocated in a truck, creating a huge traffic jam on the main Budapest-Vienna highway. Traffic appeared to be flowing fairly smoothly by late afternoon and Austrian Interior Ministry spokesman Karl-Heinz Grundboeck said they would continue to conduct "spot checks" of vehicles at all main border crossings.

TORONTO (AP) — Police have closed off a number of blocks in Toronto's downtown financial district because of an unstable antenna on the Trump International Hotel and Tower Toronto. The Trump building, located on Bay Street, Canada's version of Wall Street, is in an area normally bustling with people and cars.
