FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP) — A Colorado businessman who planned to buy a northern Arizona ski resort, building on investments across the Southwest, has become a partner instead. Coleman approached the Snowbowl partnership last year with a bid to purchase the ski resort. It wasn't for sale publicly, but the partnership is obligated to discuss unsolicited offers, said Eric Borowsky, one of the owners. Coleman and other investors formed a company to take over the Snowbowl late last year, but the deal stalled.

Cousins Properties posts 2Q FFO of $45.2 million, results top expectations

ATLANTA (AP) _ Cousins Properties Inc. (CUZ) on Tuesday reported a key measure of profitability in its second quarter. The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for funds from operations of 20 cents per share. Funds from operations is a closely watched measure in the REIT industry. It takes net income and adds back items such as depreciation and amortization.

ExamWorks posts loss of $7.9 million in 2nd quarter

ATLANTA (AP) _ ExamWorks Group Inc. (EXAM) on Tuesday reported a second-quarter loss of $7.9 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier. On a per-share basis, the Atlanta-based company said it had a loss of 19 cents. The provider of independent medical examinations and other services for the insurance and legal industries posted revenue of $208.7 million in the period.

Hawaiian Holdings posts 2Q profit, results miss Wall Street estimates

HONOLULU (AP) _ Hawaiian Holdings Inc. (HA) on Tuesday reported second-quarter earnings of $48.8 million. The Honolulu-based company said it had profit of 79 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to 61 cents per share. The results missed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 62 cents per share.
