PHOENIX (AP) — Gasoline prices around Arizona are slightly lower at the pump this week. Officials with AAA Arizona said Thursday that the average statewide price for unleaded regular gasoline is $3.13 a gallon. That's down by nearly 2 cents from last week. This week's national average is at $3.21 per gallon, more than 4 cents lower than previous week.

TORONTO (AP) — BlackBerry reported a massive $4.4 billion loss in the third quarter and 56 percent drop in revenue in its first results under new chairman and interim chief executive John Chen who hopes to make the company profitable again by 2016. "I'm hoping we never have to have a conversation going forward about inventory write downs," Chen said on a conference call with analysts.

CHICAGO (AP) — Chicago's mayor and the Illinois attorney general announced an agreement with an Indiana company Thursday that will require it to remove huge piles of petroleum coke from the city's southeast side and accept no other shipments for the time being. The deal is part of a pending lawsuit over air quality and lack of proper permitting against Hammond, Ind.-based Beemsterboer Slag Corp., which operates a facility along the Calumet River.
