A Cabot spokesman says the Houston-based company has two multi-engine units active in Pennsylvania's Marcellus Shale formation. The formation is thought to be the nation's largest natural gas reservoir.

Other tea party groups also want activists in other cities to protest Tuesday at their local IRS offices. Some recent IRS retirees in the Cincinnati area say employees there shouldn't be vilified. Former senior manager Bonnie Esrig says the Cincinnati office was a nonpolitical environment, and tax-exempt status workloads had been increasing.
NJ Senate panel OKs open space ballot question

A proposal to let voters decide whether to direct a fraction of sales tax revenues toward land preservation for the next 30 years cleared another hurdle Monday when a New Jersey Senate committee signed off on legislation to put the question on the ballot this November. Sen. Bob Smith of Middlesex County, who chairs the environmental panel that advanced the proposal, said he believes voters are more likely to agree to dedicate 1/35th of sales tax collections to preservation than to accept two other funding options that were considered: a water-user fee or more borrowing.
Leading Senate Democrat: IRS behavior intolerable

A leading Senate Democrat says the Internal Revenue Service's targeting of conservative groups was intolerable, and he is promising to get to the bottom of how it happened. The Montana Democrat says his committee will follow the facts wherever they lead. Scheduled to testify to Congress for the first time was former IRS Commissioner Douglas Shulman, who headed the agency for most of the period when it was improperly focusing on the conservative groups.
