Lawyer: No background check done on Jackson doctor

2 hours, 13 minutes ago

A corporate lawyer for AEG Live LLC says the concert giant did not perform any background check on Michael Jackson's personal physician. Trell also said AEG did not supervise or monitor former doctor Conrad Murray's care of Jackson, who died in June 2009 of an overdose of the anesthetic propofol. Murray was later convicted of involuntary manslaughter for administering the fatal dose to Jackson.
