FDA warns of infections tied to Tennessee pharmacy

Government health officials are investigating cases involving patients who suffered complications after being injected with potentially contaminated medications made by a Tennessee specialty pharmacy. Tennessee health officials said the pharmacy has agreed to recall all of its sterile products, which are generally injectable prescription drugs. Officials from the FDA and the Tennessee Department of Health have been inspecting the Newbern pharmacy since Wednesday.
Grain futures fall, livestock prices rise

Grains futures fell Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for July delivery fell 5.75 cents to $6.975 a bushel; July corn fell 4.75 cents to $6.5725 a bushel; July oats fell 5.25 cents to $3.65 a bushel; while July soybeans dropped 23.25 cents to $14.7625 a bushel. Beef and pork prices rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
