Missoula man gets 8 years in prison, must pay $6.4 million restitution for construction fraud

MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) — A Montana man has been sentenced to more than eight years in prison and ordered to pay nearly $6.5 million in restitution for taking millions of dollars in down payments on steel buildings he never completed. Oliver, 41, pleaded guilty in February to wire fraud, money laundering and structuring, which is intentionally making cash transactions in amounts less than the $10,000 level at which a federal report must be filed.

Holding Co. fell $.12 or .2 percent, to $57.25. Dominion Resources Inc. rose $.27 or .4 percent, to $70.21. Duke Energy Corp. rose $.11 or .2 percent, to $73.40.

The shares fell $.13 or .7 percent to $19.82. Broadway Financial Corp. : Approximately 577,800 shares changed hands, a 9,245.3 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $1.13 or 72.9 percent to $2.68.
