DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — A federal judge says a Chinese woman accused of conspiring to steal trade secrets from U.S. seed companies and send them to China will be tried alongside her brother. Investigators say they worked for a Chinese company and conspired to steal patented seed corn from cornfields in Iowa and Illinois to ship it to China.

Twitter says it now tracks other apps you've installed on your mobile device

NEW YORK (AP) — Twitter says it is now tracking what other apps its users have installed on their mobile devices so it can target content and ads to them better. Twitter says it is only collecting the list of apps that users have installed, not any data within the apps. It won't collect the app lists from people who have previously turned off ad targeting on their phone.

US stocks inch higher, renewing record highs for Dow Jones industrials and S&P 500 index

NEW YORK (AP) — U.S. stocks are closing with slight gains, just enough to push the market further into record territory. Semiconductor stocks rose Wednesday after Analog Devices reported strong earnings. Analog Devices rose 6 percent, the most in the Standard & Poor's 500 index. The S&P 500 rose five points, or 0.3 percent, to 2,072.
