Darius Rucker is a fan of Old Crow Medicine Show, but says he didn't really get what was so infectious about the string band's signature hit "Wagon Wheel" at first. Then he heard the faculty band at his daughter's school play the song and it all started to open up for him. "I'm sitting there listening to it and I say to myself what I always say to myself, `I want to cut this song,'" Rucker said. "I say it all the time but I never end up cutting anything. But with this song it was, `All right, let's try it.' I didn't know how big it was until after I cut it, until after it was a single. I didn't know that every college student south of the Mason-Dixon Line in the last eight years knows this song. I had no idea. $35M Margaritaville complex opens at AC's Resorts

Mitchell Etess thinks he knows the biggest thing that was wrong with New Jersey's oldest casino. But that's all in the past now that Resorts has one of Atlantic City's newest entertainment attractions. The casino will hold a grand opening Thursday for Margaritaville, the $35 million restaurant, bar, and gambling complex that's part of a $70 million expansion and renovation of Resorts. It was 35 years ago this weekend that Resorts became the first casino in the United states to open outside Nevada.

Federal authorities are investigating after a Boeing 747 on approach to Atlanta's airport lost parts from its right wing that landed on a woman's house. Clayton County homeowner Pamela Ware told Atlanta station WSB-TV ( http://bit.ly/16a9TRH ) that she's thankful she survived after part of the wing hit her house Sunday afternoon. http://bit.ly/16a9TRH The TV station reports another piece of the plane landed in front of a Wal-Mart a few miles away.
