NJ's Revel casino exits bankruptcy court

Revel, a brand new but struggling Atlantic City casino, has formally emerged from bankruptcy. Jeffrey Hartmann, the casino's interim CEO, says Revel is now free to concentrate on growing the business in the hyper-competitive Northeast casino market. Revel posted a $149 million operating loss from its April 2, 2012, opening through the end of March 2013. It has ranked near the bottom of Atlantic City's 12 casinos in terms of the amount of money won from gamblers.
Grain futures mostly fall, livestock prices rise

Grains futures mostly fell Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for July delivery fell 4.75 cents to $6.805 a bushel; July corn fell 9.5 cents to $6.40 a bushel; July oats fell 8.25 cents to $3.55 a bushel; while July soybeans jumped 13.75 cents to $14.7825 a bushel. Beef and pork prices rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Colangelo out as Raptors GM, still president

Bryan Colangelo is still president of the Toronto Raptors, but he's no longer the club's general manager. The Raptors announced Tuesday that while Colangelo's contract as team president is being extended, a new general manager will be hired within the next 30 days. The changes were announced by Tim Leiweke, who is the incoming CEO of team owner Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment. Leiweke also said he is moving up his start date from July 1 to June 3.
Yankees, Man City to co-own NYC MLS team

The New York Yankees are going into the soccer business. The Yankees are partnering with Manchester City to own Major League Soccer's 20th team, which will be called New York City Football Club and plans to start play in the 2015 season. Manchester City, owned by Sheik Mansour bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan of Abu Dhabi, will be the majority owner of the new team. Yankees President Randy Levine will be the lead person responsible for launching it.
