License of La. explosives company suspended

An explosives recycling company that authorities said improperly stored millions of pounds of a military propellant, causing the evacuation of a Louisiana town last year, was stripped of its state explosives licenses on Monday. The company has not been charged with any crimes, but state and federal investigations are ongoing.
S&P downgrades Dell debt rating to 'BBB'

Standard & Poor's Ratings Service lowered its credit rating on Dell Inc. by two notches, reflecting the computer marker's worsening operating performance. S&P noted that operating margins in the computing segment, which makes up the majority of Dell's revenue, fell to 2.5 percent from 6.5 percent year over year.
General Cable brings back quarterly dividend

General Cable Corp. said Monday that it will issue a quarterly dividend of 18 cents per share in June, the wire and cable maker's first payout since 2002. General Cable, based in Highland Heights, Ky., makes copper, aluminum and fiber optic wire and cable products for the energy, industrial and communications markets.
